Quality Assurance Manager
1. Job Description
– Working days: Monday to Friday
– Working hours: 08:00 – 18:00
– Lunch break: 12:00 – 13:15
– Responsibilities:
– Build and Improve Product Development Processes
– Develop and continuously improve product development processes.
– Establish a QA framework suitable for the internal product lifecycle, from development to maintenance.
– Integrate modern methodologies such as Agile, DevSecOps, CI/CD, and Shift-left Testing into QA processes.
– Regularly update and refine processes based on feedback from users, product, and engineering teams.
– Set Quality Standards & Compliance Controls
– Clearly define acceptance criteria, technical quality, and non-functional requirements for each product.
– Establish and organize compliance evaluation activities (QA reviews, internal audits).
– Digitize process systems to facilitate monitoring and traceability of product quality history.
– Monitor and Continuously Improve Product Quality
– Collect and analyze quality metrics such as defect rate, defect leakage, test coverage, and user feedback.
– Identify potential quality risks early and collaborate with Product and Dev teams to address them promptly.
– Propose and track specific quality improvement activities for each product development phase.
– Manage the QA Team
– Develop capability-building plans for QA staff with a focus on automation, early integration testing, and non-functional testing.
– Allocate tasks appropriately across projects and products.
– Guide QA teams to work as part of the product team, closely collaborating with Dev, Product, and CS.
– QA Tools & Platform Strategy
– Select and implement suitable testing tools such as Jira, Confluence, TestRail, Jenkins, Power BI, etc.
– Collaborate with technical teams to integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines.
– Specify development or integration requirements for internal tools supporting quality monitoring and analysis.
2. Experience & Skills
– Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent.
– Minimum 5 years in QA/Product Quality, with ≥3 years in a management role at a product company.
– Experience implementing quality management frameworks such as ISO 25010, CMMI, or team maturity assessment models.
– Deep understanding of Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC), Software Delivery Maturity, and Test Pyramid.
– Experience with internal product development models and continuous delivery cycles.
– Proficient with Jira, Confluence, Git, Jenkins/GitLab CI, Power BI/Grafana, TestRail, Postman.
– Experience in evaluating and implementing test frameworks (Cypress, Selenium, REST Assured, etc.).
– Systemic thinking and data-driven decision-making skills.
– Excellent communication with Product, Engineering, SRE, and CS teams to build a consensus quality strategy.
– Preferred:
– Certifications such as ISTQB Advanced, CSQA, PSM, or experience with customer-facing feedback loops.
– Experience in developing B2C/B2B products with large user bases or complex systems (microservices, cloud-native).
